KPPW believes no child should be left on the sidelines. We offer financial assistance through association‑level scholarships and community programs. To apply for any scholarship listed below, please contact the commissioner of the association you will be registering with (Homer Raiders or Soldotna Saints).
🏆 KPPW ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIPS
🤝 Raider & Saint Assistance Fund
🏅 One per association · 8 total
Covers:
- $215 Football Registration / $130 Cheer Registration
- $15 Admin Processing Fee
Player still responsible for: $75 uniform fee, $35 team admin fee, and equipment rental ($50 if needed).
Criteria: Financial hardship requiring assistance to play.
Restriction: Participant may not have received a sponsorship during the previous three seasons. One per association.

📚 Scholar Athlete Award
🏅 One per association · 8 total
Covers:
- $215 Football Registration / $130 Cheer Registration
- $15 Admin Processing Fee

Criteria: 3.5+ GPA (attach copy of 4th quarter report card to registration form).
Restriction: Participant may not have received a sponsorship during the previous two seasons.

📌 HOW TO APPLY & WHAT TO EXPECT
📞 Application Process: Contact your association commissioner directly (Homer or Soldotna). Each association has its own review timeline — some do not award scholarships until June or July.
💰 Payment Plan Recommended: Do not wait for a scholarship decision. Enroll now using the payment plan to secure your player’s roster spot. If you are later awarded a scholarship, you will be refunded the amount covered.
🔄 How Refunds Work: If awarded, you’ll receive a coupon code to apply during online registration (or a refund of payments made toward the covered amount).
⏱️ Volunteer Commitment: Families receiving a scholarship agree to fulfill 15 volunteer hours per season (e.g., helping with concessions, field setup, equipment, team parent duties, etc.). Your commissioner will provide a list of opportunities.
